Stress free photos of families, family reunions and large extended family group shots.

Planning a photoshoot when you know everyone in the family will be together is not just ideal, it's a joyous occasion. The photos we capture will be cherished for years, serving as a beautiful reminder of your family's love and togetherness. And what better place to capture these precious moments than in our stunning coastal town? Whether it's for a wall portrait or a family holiday card, the beauty of our location will only enhance the joy in your photos.

When an extended family gets together, I love taking one big group photograph of everyone and breaking it off into groups: nuclear families, the generations together, siblings, and grandchildren with the grandparents. I also love capturing candid moments in between and some fun lifestyle moments with children running around and playing.

I live here in the area and would be happy to suggest locations that work best for your family based on the ages of your children, the size of your group, and what you want for a backdrop. An easy and convenient place is to take photos at your vacation home, rental property, or hotel. Your home base is especially ideal if you have a large group, young children and babies, or grandparents who are less mobile. It is also best if it is a super bright time of day, as we usually find some lovely shade or flattering light on the property. We, of course, have several beautiful beach options in the area, which are always stunning, especially at sunset! Golden hour (about an hour before the sun sets) is my favorite time for photo sessions. However, if you have young children or dinner reservations, we can always make any time of day work. And if you love rocky shorelines or lobster boats as the backdrop, I have some fabulous locations. Generally, I recommend sticking to one area with extended families, but we can do two if you think the young kids can hold out for the time and travel!
